The 2014 U15 and U17 National Championships will now be an official NCAA-sanctioned tournament. This is a major development for the growth of the tournament as it now meets the prerequisite criteria to become a recruiting opportunity for CCAA, CIS and NCAA scouts and coaches.

Foundation announces $483,500 over next three years in Midland area

Sail Canada is pleased to announce the Canadian Youth World team attending the 2014 ISAF Sailing Youth World Championships in Tavira Portugal. Qualifications wrapped up this past weekend with the 29er Midwinter West regatta, finalizing the full team selection process.

In June 2014, Canada will host the largest women’s world wheelchair basketball championship in history, which will be made possible through the efforts of a large group of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers supporting all facets of the event. Organizers of the 2014 Women’s World Wheelchair Basketball Championship (2014 WWWBC) are now seeking individuals who can assist with the day-to-day execution of the world-class sporting event at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto from June 17-29, 2014.

The Team BC mission staff has been selected to lead the provincial team competing in the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George.

Volunteers are required in areas such as hospitality, logistics, media, special events, team services, team hosts and venue operations.

Five pilot projects will test the Canadian Sport for Life model in communities for the long-term benefit of children and adults by creating better quality sport opportunities and more engaged communities.
